Hello and welcome to Jax's Book Nook!
My name is Jackie and I am a psych nurse. Working as a psych nurse can be pretty stressful, and one way I like to relax is to curl up with a good book. I also like to discuss books with others, which is why I am starting this blog. At times, it seems like I've hit a road block when looking for new authors and books. By writing reviews, I am expanding my horizons by reading new and exciting books and I am hoping to do the same for you.
When I'm not reading, I enjoy spending time working with my horses and exploring the trails. I have two horses, Barbie and Vega. They are my world. I hoping to start doing some basic manners training with Vega this summer. I also hope to do more trail riding with Barbie as well. They both have huge personalities.
I also have a mini Australian Shepherd, named Molly, a Lhasa Apso/Maltese, named Abby, and a cat, named Maddie. Molly is my little drama queen always so sassy, Abby is my cuddle bug, and Maddie, like always, is not amused. Molly and I like to hike the local trails. Abby even has a little hiking backpack so she can come too!
Outside of this, there is not much to tell. I welcome you to comment on my reviews with any additional thoughts or differing opinions. This world would be a very boring place if we all had the same opinions about a book!
